Investment In Man Trust (IIMT), was established on 25 th of February 1970. Late Dr. Achyut Shankar Apte, Late Fr. Matthew Lederle, Late Mrs. Meenaxi Apte were the founder members. Further Late Mr. D.M. Sheth, Smt. Asha Sheth, Mr. Sudhakar Marathe and Mr. Anand Nandgaonkar firmly supported the trust. IIMT (Investment in Man trust) runs an orphanage (Dnyanesh Balsadan) at Phulgaon located 30 kms from Pune on Pune–Nagar road. IIMT has been working for the last 5 decades, in the field of rural development in Pune, in Maharashtra state, known for its institutions of learning and entrepreneurship in social service.
